Five Tuition - Covid Safe Plan

Updated 28 January 2022

Compliance

FIve Tuition fully adheres to all regulations specified by the Victorian Government as specified via https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/. In addition, we adhere to building-specific regulations as they are communicated to us by the relevant agencies.

In accordance with the Pandemic Order Register, full vaccination is required for staff and students above the age of 18.

Mandatory check-in is required for all visitors. Details of staff and students are recorded on the online scheduling system.

As per the Checklist for COVID cases, staff and tutors who report positive test results or, having been a close contact of someone with a positive test result, are not permitted on campus.

Social Distancing

Online tutoring continues to be promoted as a preferred option. We are constantly seeking ways to better support online tutoring.

The two-metre-square rule is applied conservatively across our campuses. At any given time, no more than 25 tutors and students are permitted on campus.

Social distancing posters are placed at the entrance and at specific areas within the campus reminding staff and students to maintain a distance of 1.5 metres where possible.

Only tutors and students are permitted on campus. At this point in time, we are unable to accommodate parents on campus.

Face Masks

All tutors and students adhere to the current face mask requirements, as outlined at https://www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/face-masks-when-wear-face-mask.

Disposable face masks are provided to students and tutors who require one. These are placed at the reception area.

Instructions on how to wear a face mask properly are accessible here: https://www.health.gov.au/resources/videos/how-to-wear-a-mask

Good Hygiene

A hand sanitiser station is placed at the entrance.

All staff and students who visit the campus are required to sanitise their hands.

There is a rubbish bin available to dispose of tissue.

A sanitising soap dispenser is placed in the bathroom.

External surfaces are wiped prior to commencement of sessions.

record Keeping

Staff or students who report feeling unwell will be advised to stay home.

If a staff or student registers a temperature of more than 37.7 degrees Celsius, they are strongly encouraged to be tested for covid-19 even if their symptoms are mild.

All staff and tutors who visit our campuses have their details recorded via the online record-keeping system.

Should we be notified of any staff or student who has tested positive for Covid-19, we will notify staff & students (through their parents) who have been in contact with the respective staff/student, and contact WorkSafe Victoria on 13 23 60 for further advice.
